About these terms

“Clayworks Labs”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Clayworks Labs. By downloading, purchasing or using one of our products, you agree to these terms. If a product, store or purchase has additional terms, those terms also apply and take priority for that specific matter.

CLYWRKS music software is also covered by the CLYWRKS product terms.

Licence and ownership

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use a product on devices you own or control, subject to the applicable store rules and product documentation. The software is licensed, not sold. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, publicly host, copy or modify our software, share protected downloads or licence credentials, remove proprietary notices, misuse a product, interfere with its security, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits you to do so.

Our software, branding, interfaces, documentation and supplied materials are owned by Clayworks Labs or its licensors. Your licence may end if you materially breach these terms, in which case you must stop using and delete the affected product unless applicable law or store rules provide otherwise.

Your work

You retain ownership of music, projects, files and other original content you create using our products. Clayworks Labs does not claim ownership of your output. You remain responsible for ensuring that anything you create, import or share does not violate another person’s rights or applicable law.

CLYWRKS products may be used in personal and commercial music production as described in their product-specific terms.

Purchases, subscriptions and refunds

Purchases may be processed by Apple’s App Store, Google Play, Lemon Squeezy or another identified provider. Prices, taxes, payment, renewal, cancellation and refund handling may be governed by that provider’s terms. Any subscription or in-app purchase will be clearly described before you buy it.

Nothing in these terms limits refund, cancellation or other consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. For purchase or technical problems, contact the store provider or info@clywrks.com as appropriate.

If you obtain an app through a third-party store, you must also follow that store’s rules. Where an Apple app is supplied without a custom licence agreement, Apple’s standard end-user licence agreement applies. The store provider is not responsible for support beyond any obligations it expressly accepts under its own terms.

Updates, support and availability

We may provide updates, fixes, new features or support at our discretion or where required by law. We do not promise a particular release schedule, permanent availability, or compatibility with every future device, operating system, host or third-party service. Support is provided on a reasonable, best-effort basis.

Preview, beta or experimental products may change, contain errors or be discontinued. Keep suitable backups of important local projects and data where the product allows you to do so.

Our products may work with app stores, payment providers, operating systems, DAWs, sharing tools, websites or other third-party services. Their availability, content and conduct are outside our control and are governed by their own terms and policies.

Warranties and liability

Our products are provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that they will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every intended use.

To the extent permitted by law, Clayworks Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or business interruption arising from use of a product. Where liability can be limited, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product. Nothing excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms as our products or legal requirements change. The latest version and date will appear here. These terms are governed by the laws applicable where Clayworks Labs operates, subject to any mandatory rights and protections in your country.
